Egg Nog

  • 4 oz Gunpowder and Rose Rum
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 5 oz whole milk
  • 2 oz whipping cream
  • ¾ oz simple syrup
  • Instructions

    1. Top half of cocktail shaker muddle half of a teaspoon of cinnamon and half of a teaspoon of clove together
    2. Bottom half of cocktail shaker add the 2 egg yolks, the Gunpowder and Rose Rum, the whole milk, whipping cream and simple syrup
    3. Shake vigorously.
    4. Add ice
    5. Quick, gentle shake to cool the liquid
    6. Strain in to glass, ideally a coupe - or any glass you have to hand
    7. Garnish with Star of Anise and grated (or ground) nutmeg
